The RUD® Boot Chain Bergsteiger provides traction and helps prevent slipping on slick surfaces. RUD® Boot Chains are quality products, made by one of the largest chain manufacturers in the world. In 2001, RUD was the first German manufacturer to be certified by the Environment Management System standard ISO 14001.

The RUD® Boot Chain Bergsteiger is designed with vulcanized rubber which holds a network of case-hardened, cadmium-plated steel link chains. To ensure the chains won’t roll as you step, each chain has a welded seam to provide additional grip and stability. Additional chain coverage ensures extra traction, which makes this item ideal for outdoor and working boots. Designed to fit both men's and women's outdoor footwear. It will not collect snow or debris between the chains. In addition, each pair comes in a zipper pouch with a velcro/ keychain loop for easy storage and travel.

~Awesome Chains~, 1.8.2009 Reviewer: Rosemary Brinkerhoff (Beryl, UT) I **highly recommend** these boot chains. They are well worth the price. I'm able to walk comfortably in icy conditions and they don't seem to interfere with walking on cement, etc. I keep them on my boots and wear them all the time until conditions improve. If you have problems with slipping, these are definately an item that will make your life safer.
