I bought these shoe trees for my Allen Edmonds loafers. As I tend to go sockless, cedar shoe trees were really necessary. They do an awesome job - helps to keep my shoes dry and smelling fresh and prevent creases across the vamp.

First shoe tree I've ever owned so I don't know how to compare quality and such, but they absolutely work great. Highly recommend these. I use them on Bostonians to keep the Funk down to minimum. All you can smell is leather, and yes... I've sniffed 'em.. hehe.

Does exactly what it needs to do. Smells nice. Not as smooth as the ones I got from Nordstroms, but I bet a simple swipe of sand paper would fix that right up. Besides you should do that anyways every once in a while to freshen up the wood smell.
